Cette coquille taxonée Linatella cingulata est arrivée beached d' Australie. Il est peu commun dans cette province du New South Wales, généralement pêché mort dans des chaluts par une centaine de mètres de fond sablo-vaseux. Il vit dans tout les océans chauds et est connu également sous le nom de Cymatium (Linatella) caudatum (Gmelin, J.F., 1791). Celui-ci est particulièrement blanc. Il est en général teinté de brun. Les petites balanes qui squattent sa coquille indiquent qu' il a été trouvé mort dans la zone des marées. Peut-être Chamaesipho tasmanica (Edgar, 1997) ( Honeycomb Barnacle), la plus petite du genre. Elles sont trop jeunes pour être identifiées avec certitude. Taille: 59 mm.
This shell is named Linatella cingulata beached arrival from Australia. It is uncommon in the province of New South Wales, usually caught in trawl nets death by a hundred yards of sandy-mud bottom.
