Raphitoma megastoma, Brugnone 1862

J' ai identifié comme Raphitoma megastoma cette coquille arrivée dans un lot Ebay sans taxon ni provenance à part l' adresse du vendeur (Gorge du Verdon). J' ai trouvé une coquille assez ressemblante dans le ''Luigi Bellardi'' du Musée de Turin: Part II, Pl IX, fig 23. Il y a de grande chance pour qu' il ait changé de nom et de genre depuis! Taille: 25 mm.

I have identified as Raphitoma megastoma this shell in a lot Ebay arrival without taxa apart the address of the seller (Gorge du Verdon). I have found a shell quite resemblance in the "Luigi Bellardi'' of Museum of Turin: Part II, Pl IX, fig 23. There is a good chance for that it has changed its name and gender since! Size: 25 mm.
